I'm Rishabh. I live in Lucknow, I write proposals for a living, and I make websites the long way round — drawn, animated and built by the same pair of hands.
Writing
Since 2023 I have written proposals for public-sector contracts in the United States: long documents, fixed deadlines, evaluators who score every sentence. It taught me to make complicated things clear, and to finish on time.
Making
Alongside it I design and build for the web: type, motion, shaders and the code underneath. It is where the clarity goes to become something people can touch.
What I hold to
- One idea, strong enough to sketch.
- Type does most of the work.
- Motion has to mean something.
- Fast is part of the design.
- Then take one more thing out.
Now
- Building this site in the open, one section at a time.
- Running Life OS every day, and an assistant that lives inside it.
- Taking on a small number of web projects.
